The FFLD utilizes high performance disinfecting LEDs from IllumiPure. These LEDs continuously disinfect hard or soft surfaces, killing 99.9 percent of bacteria when the lights are kept on. IllumiPure LEDs are effective against MRSA, C. Difficile, Salmonella and E. Coli. Because IllumiPure LEDs are part of the normal visible LED spectrum (near-UV wavelength), the FFLD is completely harmless to humans and animals. The FPB v2 Select is an adjustable LED flat panel available in three sizes, with field-selectable output and color temperature. Wattage and CCT are easily adjusted via switches on the back. Non-emergency models feature five selectable CCTs and five selectable wattages, while emergency units feature three selectable color temperatures and three selectable wattages. The FPB v2 Select features state-of-the-art backlit LED technology. Illumination is uniform, with minimal glare and no visible LED pixelation. PMMA lensing over the LEDs will not discolor over time.
